TROY BUCHANAN HIGH FOOTBALL STANDOUT COMMITS TO MISSOURI TIGERS
BUCHANAN COUNTY SHINING STAR MAKES WAY TO SEC FOOTBALL
Troy Buchanan High School product, Aidan Shaw has signed a letter of intent to play football at the University of Missouri. Shaw is a 6’5”, 285-pound offensive tackle who was a standout for the Trojans on both sides of the ball.
SHAW LED TROJANS TO BACK-TO-BACK STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
During his time at Troy Buchanan, Shaw helped lead the Trojans to back-to-back state championship games, winning it all in 2021. He earned all-state honors in both his junior and senior seasons and was a key part of an offensive line that helped produce a 1,000-yard rusher in each of the past two seasons.
SHAW IMPRESSED AT Mizzou CAMP
Shaw committed to Mizzou after impressing at a camp in Columbia this summer. He showed off his size, strength, and athleticism, and the Tigers’ coaches were quick to offer him a scholarship. Shaw is expected to be a redshirt candidate for the Tigers in 2023, but he has the potential to be a major contributor in the years to come.
SHAW EXCITED TO PLAY IN SEC
Shaw is excited to play in the SEC, one of the toughest conferences in college football. He said he is looking forward to the challenge of competing against some of the best players in the country. “I’m just really excited to get to work and show what I can do,” Shaw said. “I know it’s going to be a lot of hard work, but I’m ready for it.”
SHAW’S COMMITMENT IS A BIG GET FOR MIZZOU
Shaw’s commitment is a big get for Mizzou. He is a talented player with a lot of potential, and he fits the Tigers’ need for size and athleticism on the offensive line. Shaw is also a high-character individual who is a good student. He is a great representative for Troy Buchanan High School and the state of Missouri.
