Fourth Quarter Inflation Data Released for 2024

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced that the fourth quarter inflation data for 2024 has been released. This data will be used to calculate the salary adjustments for civil servants and pensioners, who receive inflation-based bonuses twice a year.

Inflation Surges in March

The inflation rate in March 2024 saw a monthly increase of 316%. This brings the six-month inflation rate to 318%. The inflation rate for December 2023 was previously reported as 293% by TÜİK on January 3, 2024.
